The Trovet LRD diet contains selected proteins that eliminate nutrients that may cause allergies or food intolerance. LRD is a complete food prepared from the highest quality products that are known not to cause food allergy. Trovet LRD does not contain dairy products, gluten, lactose, which can be the cause of food intolerance.

Diet Ingredients Update 2016 (only for dry food)
In view of the growing demand for diets that can be provided for cats with food hypersensitivity and recurrent urinary stones - struvites, urine acidifying substances have been added to LRD dry food. Lower pH of urine contributes to reducing the formation of struvites. This correction caused contraindications described in the "Contraindications" tab below.

Current indications and contraindications for Hypoallergenic LRD wet cat food remain the same.
The corrected product will have a pictogram 'pH control' on the packaging.
